Deze lokale organisatie biedt vrijwilligerswerk projecten binnen het project ‘House of Light’. Dit project biedt plaats voor jonge mannen en vrouwen in Zuid-Afrika  die een moeilijke jeugd achter de rug hebben. Als vrijwilliger kun je meewerken binnen dit huis om deze jongeren te begeleiden bij de dagelijkse bezigheden en kun je activiteiten organiseren, zoals een spelletjesavond of een sportactiviteit om het groepsgevoel binnen het huis te bevorderen.

Volunteering:

  • Beth Uriel heeft een internationaal vrijwilligersprogramma voor 3 tot 12 maanden. Het gaat voornamelijk om sociaal werk en jeugdzorg. Studenten die op dat gebied studeren, kunnen bij Beth Uriel stage lopen. Voor sociaal werk moet de vrijwilliger/student minimaal 21 jaar zijn en voor jeugdzorg minimaal 18.
  • De organisatie is ook heel blij met professionals die vrijwilligerswerk willen doen en hun kennis willen delen op de gebieden als bijvoorbeeld economie, financiën, ICT, graphisch ontwerpen en personeelszaken.
