How does it work? 
Take a look on the website below for interesting courses and some inspiration what it consists of. There is also a tutorial designed to teach, develop and practice, step by step, typing skills. Separate lessons are written for Dvorak and Qwerty. One should go through lessons in sequence because they rehearse keys already learned as they add new ones. What else do I need to know? 
Explain the children exactly step by step how it works and pay good attention at them, because they could stay behind with some questions. To spice the practice, check out the educational typing games. Some are enhanced with music. The most popular typing game is the Barracuda and its less graphical version the BarracudaS. Then there are the Foggies a typing game without boundaries. The Alphabetic Rain typing game focuses on letters. The Falling Words challenges a typist with words or numbers. The latest game The Jibe practices random letters or numbers.

What's the point of this activity? 
With this activity, people learn to type faster by getting familiar with the letters and numbers. It's also a challenge or you to learn the whole group, also when some children stay behind!
