Why Taiwan?
I remember visiting my sister, many years ago, when she was doing an internship In Taipei, in Taiwan.
She loved studying, doing an internship and living in Taiwan (for more than one year). Not due the small dorm, that she was sharing with another student, but the vibes and the atmosphere.
- Speaking Mandarin went so fast and easy there for her.
I loved visiting Taiwan.
- I remember the high quality of life, the amenities, the friendly Taiwanese people, the sense of feeling safe.
- The nature was beautiful, I remember mountains with fog.
- Tea ceremonies, beaches, not so beautiful weather.
- The easy way of traveling (once you find how and you can ask anyone).
- The feeling of traveling in Taiwan was authentic, not everyone speaks English.
When you can't find the way... I ended up being brought to the policestation, and being asked where to be brought.
- I remember going to shops, and getting free gifts, since the people where so amazed to see me, and were just happy.
- It was difficult not being able to talk in Mandarin, but a smile goes a long way.
I read nowadays that Taiwan is an underrated tourism destination, and I can imagine. Go, why not go to Taiwan?
