Travel in Congo-Brazzaville
- Congo-Brazzaville or Republic of Congo, a much smaller country located above the “other Congo,” is a lot safer than its larger neighbor. However, the region can still be quite unsettled and unsafe, for example near the border with Congo. The country has beautiful nature and consists largely of dense jungle that has hardly been touched by human hands. That jungle is home to gorillas and endless numbers of chimpanzees, which helps make it a good destination for ecotourism. Because of the unrest, traveling through Congo is challenging.
