Intelligence is one of the most researched topics in psychology.

Operational definitions define a concept in terms of the way the test is used. This way of defining is not useful for intelligence. Intelligence tests have been developed for measuring intelligence and not for defining it. The brain is the best protected organ in the body. It is first protected by the skull. Then through meninges, three membranes that cover the brain and spinal cord.
