Accommodation in the rainforest

• The ecolodge was founded by an Englishmen who moved to the island in 2001 and build the ecolodge there.
• Now the lodge occupies a big piece of land and houses several types of accommodation where guests can stay. For example, a bamboo house, a camping site, a hostel and cabins.
• It is also possible to do a homestay at a familiy that lives in one of the neighbouring villages.
• At the lodge is a restaurant where local food is served, and a communal kitchen where guests can prepare their own food.
• The lodge also opened an eco study center where workhops are held on sustainable living, renewable energy and environmental practices.
• Guests can do several activities at the lodge to explore the nature and culture of the island, for example a hike, turtle watching and craft workshop.
