Products & Services CV

Onderwijs

  • Roko 20 Academy is een basisschool die kansarme kinderen en weeskinderen in Kenia de mogelijkheid biedt om naar school te gaan.
  • De organisatie is gestart in 2014.
  • Tijdens de schoolvakanties en feestdagen organiseert Roko 20 Academy activiteiten met verschillende thema's, zoals boek, video, kunst etc.
  • Naast dat de kinderen activiteiten kunnen doen, is er ook een project gestart voor ouderen. De ouderen kunnen helpen met het vlechten van manden.

Rabbit project

  • Naast het helpen van de kinderen op school, worden de kinderen ook begeleid thuis.
  • Met het rabbit project, krijgt een familie een konijn om voor te zorgen. Hiermee kunnen de families wat terugdoen voor de hulp die ze krijgen. 

Green house

  • In samenwerking met Keniase families heeft Roko 20 Academy een project opgestart waar de opbrengst van de landbouw en dieren wordt gedeeld.

Jobs

  • Roko 20 Academy is elke semester op zoek naar een ervaren TEFL leraar of lerares engels voor op de basisschool, tegen kost en inwoning. 
  • Er zijn 5 klassen. De leeftijden van de kinderen zijn van 3 t/m 14 jaar.

Internships

  • Voor zover bekend biedt Roko 20 Academy geen mogelijkheid voor stages.

Volunteering

  • Roko 20 Academy zoekt vrijwilligers om Engelse les te komen geven op de basisschool.
