Tomorrow is the day! After months of preparing, I am finally starting my journey to Asia. I am very excited to join China Inside, an organisation with a number of social projects across Beijing. I will be joining them as a volunteerer for the coming four weeks, working at several projects of theirs including a day care training centre for mentally disabled in a traditional courtyard house in the middle of the ancient Hutong area. It is a completely new experience for me to work as a volunteerer with a charity project and I am looking forward to be able to contribute to such a great cause. 

Not only will I travel to China this summer, but I will go to Taiwan afterwards for an exchange semester at the National Taiwan University in Taipei for 5 months. This means that I will leave home and travel to Asia for a total of six months. 

I can't wait for this journey to begin!
