Travel in Somalia

• Somalia has been involved in many wars and is therefore known as an unstable country. The landscape is mostly flat and dry and has a number of mountain ranges such as the Karkaar Mountains. In addition, there are various national parks and the country has a long coastline with sandy beaches. Despite the many attractive sides of the country that could possibly attract tourists, the country is not always safe. Culturally, religiously and historically, the country is strongly connected to the Arab world.
