Beyond cooking

• Manq'a offers disadvantaged youths a chance to build a career in the gastronomy and hospitality sector by training them as chefs. 
• In addition, they work on opening up markets for poor farmers and making healthy food accessible for people of limited means.
• Currently the organization also operates in Colombia and they plan on spreading to more countries in South America.
• Many students who have been trained at one of the Manq'a schools are now running their own business or have a job in de food sector.

• Manq'a is often looking for interns. There are internship possibilities for students with various backgrounds, such as: gastronomy, marketing and communication, business administration, economics, agriculture and ecology.
