Concept of JoHo WorldSupporter

JoHo WorldSupporter mission and vision:

  • JoHo wants to enable people and organizations to develop and work better together, and thereby contribute to a tolerant tolerant and sustainable world. Through physical and online platforms, it support personal development and promote international cooperation is encouraged.

JoHo concept:

  • As a JoHo donor, member or insured, you provide support to the JoHo objectives. JoHo then supports you with tools, coaching and benefits in the areas of personal development and international activities.
  • JoHo's core services include: study support, competence development, coaching and insurance mediation when departure abroad.

Products & Services CV

Reizen op maat

  • De reizen van Better Places zijn 100% maatwerk. In overleg met een lokale reisexpert stel je je eigen reis samen. Ook kun je op de website voorbeelden van reizen vinden ter inspiratie. 
  • De reisexperts zijn Nederlanders en Belgen of locals die al jaren in het land wonen en het goed kennen.  
  • De bestemmingen liggen over de hele wereld; onder andere Peru, Cambodja, Madagascar, Tanzania, Iran, Cuba of Zuid-Afrika. 
  • Ook is het mogelijk een familiereis te maken met het hele gezin zodat de kinderen kennis kunnen maken met andere culturen. De reis wordt op maat samengesteld door de lokale reisexpert. 

Better Tourism Academy

  • De Better Tourism Academy is een initiatief van Better Places. Je kunt hier een traineeship in duurzaam toerisme volgen.
  • Het traineeship start met trainingen in Nederland, op het kantoor van Better Places in Leiden.
  • Daarna volg je aansluitend stage bij een lokale reisspecialist in onder andere Afrika, Azië, of Latijns-Amerika.
  • Het doel is om jonge professionals in het toerisme te trainen op het gebied van duurzaam- en verantwoordelijk toerisme zodat ze deze doelstellingen mee kunnen nemen in hun loopbaan en zo de industrie kunnen verbeteren.

  • Voor zover bij JoHo bekend zijn er nog geen banen bij Better Places of de Better Tourism Academy. 

Internships

  • Het is mogelijk een traineeship te volgen bij Better Tourism Academy als student toerisme en/of communicatie tot vier jaar na afstuderen. De traineeships beginnen in september en duren, afhankelijk van plaatsing, rond de 10 maanden. Check de informatie op de website en stuur om te solliciteren je CV en motivatie naar de organisatie.

Volunteering

  • Volgens de beschikbare informatie zijn er nog geen mogelijkheden voor vrijwilligerswerk bij Better Places.
