Methodology
The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining two phases:
- Focus group discussions: Involving 28 young people (16-25 years old) across diverse backgrounds to explore their understanding and experiences with social media algorithms.
- Individual interviews: Conducted with 6 participants from the focus groups to delve deeper into their perceptions and strategies for navigating algorithmic filtering.
