Cairo Water Week 2018

The first Cairo Water Week (CWW), organized by Egypt’s Ministry of Water Resources, in partnership with the EU, Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO), the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Global Water Partnership, International Water Management Institute (IWMI) and others, will focus on the theme, ‘Water Conservation for Sustainable Development.’ Specific themes to be addressed include: water scarcity, health and sanitation challenges and opportunities; science, technology and innovation; climate change and the environment; transboundary water governance and benefit sharing; and water management for sustainable development.

CWW aims to promote awareness of water conservation and sustainable development, foster new thinking to address water-related challenges, and support actions towards integrated water resources management (IWRM).

Pure Water - Help Provide Clean Drinking Water to Nepal

The devastating earthquakes to hit Nepal killed over 7,000 people and destroyed thousands of homes and wiped out entire villages. The very basic essentials such as fresh clean water, electricity, food and shelter are in great need.

The Pure Water Movement is planning a trip to Nepal to help provide clean drinking water for residents of a village. With a minimum donation of $25 you will be helping us provide clean water to a village in Nepal.
