Decolonization Paradigm + Liberation Criminology

Professor Onwubiko Agozino (Professor of Sociology and Africana Studies from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Virginia USA) will provide this public lecture. Join his lecture if you're interested in the project of colonization and patriarchal imperialism as a science created for the control of Others. It wasn't until Indigenous Peoples were intruded by colonizers who executed genocide, stole the land, and enslaved the survivors.
Criminology, unlike some other sciences, remains integrated with the state power structures and therefore control-freak criminologists are more likely to resist the ongoing decolonization of theory, methodology and especially policy. This very interesting lecture is one that you don't want to miss out!
