Fighting poverty

• Anan Clinica Foundation was founded in 2009 to tackle healthcare problems in the Nanatha community in Mozambique.
• At that time, the local community was already working on fighting several poverty related issues with support from outside. Anan Clinica was established to focus on the healthcare issues.
• Over the years a couple of programs have been set up to develop the community. These include, a school building, a community center, a micro-finance project and a market. 

Healthcare  

• Anan Clinica aims to address healthcare issues by improving education on the subject and providing basic healthcare to the community.
• In order to do this, an education program has been set up to increase knowledge on hygiene, health and preventing diseases.
• This is mainly done by volunteers who help the community by passing over their knowledge on hygiene and common diseases in the area, like malaria, malnutrition or AIDS.
• To establish a structural solution, Anan Clinica also cooperates with several NGO's in the region and spread their work to other communities.
