UN-aligned is an organisation born out of the idealism of Adriano Liberto and Ariana Yekrangi. They say "UN-aligned was created with the goal of uniting our globe by a federal world order, which is based on core principles of a shared humanity and a shared planet." Their main concerns are human rights and the environment.

UN-aligned wants to provide an alternative to the United Nations, one that does not include super powers and money. It strives to be a beacon of change through people, ideals, and integrity. 

As a quite new organisation, set-up in 2016, they operate mostly online. You can become a member online for free and the member page gives you access to several interesting services. One such service is the parish, which is basically an online group based on shared ideas. You can set one up yourself or find one. Although the button to find one doesn't seem to offer any options for me at the moment. They also offer english language courses, in order to create better international communication. 

A service I personally am most interested in, is their magazine, The Gordian. Not only are you able to access their full issues online, they also invite members to write for them. While there are still not as many contributors as would be ideal, The Gordian has great potential as a humanitarian magazine. The magazine already provides interesting new views on subjects such as policy in Iran, Taiwan's independence, and environmental policies.
