Spanish lessons off the beaten track

• Colombia Immersion is a language school located in Medellin, Colombia, where you can take Spanish classes at different levels.
• What makes Colombia Immersion special is that they don't just give Spanish classes the traditional way. The school is located outside the busy tourist areas of Medellin and the focus of the school is to let Spanish students interact with the local population during language exchange evenings.
• This way, you can use your newly acquired language skills in practice right after class.
• Besides the language classes, the school organises cultural activities like salsa lessons or cooking classes.

Accommodation

• Accommodation is in a safe area. You can choose between a stay in a Colombian family, a hostel or at an appartment.
• Lessons start every week on Monday and you can choose between group lessons or private lessons.

Jobs

• Immersion has three options to do a work exchange. This means that you work for the company in exchange for accommodation, meals or language classes. You can for example work as a community manager or a marketing assistant. See the website for more information about the different work exchange opportunities.

Internships

• The work exchange options can also be done as an internship. 

Volunteering

• As far as JoHo is aware, there are no volunteering opportunities at Colombia Immersion yet.
