Africa's Eden

Africa's Eden is een Tour operator en Ground operator. De organisatie heeft als doel om door middel van toerisme geld in te zamelen voor natuurbehoud. Dit wordt gedaan in Dzanga-Sangha reserve (Centraal Afrikaanse Republiek), Loango National Park (Gabon), en de eilanden van Sao Tome & Principe.

Research

  • Africa's Eden doet veel research voor het behoud van de natuur.
  • Dit wordt vooral gedaan in Loango National Park in Gabon.
  • Hierin zijn er projecten voor het onderzoeken van gorilla's, chimpansees, vlinders, walvissen, zeekoeien, schildpadden en nog vele andere dieren.
  • De organisatie is van plan om in de toekomst ook in de andere twee parken research te doen. Namelijk in Dzanga-Sangha reserve en op de eilanden van Sao Tome & Principe.

Tours

  • In alle drie de natuurgebeiden verzorgt Africa's Eden speciale tours door de natuur. 
  • Deze tours zijn bedoeld om geld te verdienen voor het natuurbehoud. Daarom de motto; "Tourism pays for Conservation".

Lodge & Ground operations

  • Africa's Eden heeft ook andere services, zoals ground operations in Port Gentil.
  • Verder bieden ze accomodatie mogelijkheden in Loango National Park.
  • Ook heeft Africa's Eden eigen eco-gidsen en auto's.

Volunteering

  • Tijdens de tours leer je meer over het behoud van de natuur en cultuur van Afrika. En draag je een steentje bij voor het behoud van de natuur, door deel te nemen aan deze tours.
  • Daarnaast is het mogelijk in sommige tours om zelf fysiek te helpen, bijvoorbeeld het observeren van de dieren voor het onderzoek.
