The Urgent Run organised by the World Toilet Organisation and Smokey Tours for BYSMP Bless the Children Foundation. We will run with 500 kids in Tondo, where the Slum Tour of Smokey Tours is! Smokey Tours will organise an Urgent Run, a fun run for Sanitation Awareness on the UN World Toilet Day on november 15! That event comes back yearly.

Smokey Tours would like to get children to move and run. In the Philippines running is getting more and more popular. The children of BYSMP Bless the Children can benefit, they will have new/second hand shoes, will practice for the 1 or 2 K run and it will help coping with emotions and all with the topic Urgent Run. Urgent as in an Urgent Run, you know the feeling that you have to go to the toilet, but there isnt one nearby, or not a clean toilet. These are known practices in the Philippines.....

The Urgent Run was inspired and set up because Smokey Tours met Jack Sim Juek Wah in Singapore. He is Mr Toilet himself. He is the founder of the World Toilet Organization (an international NGO for sanitation) and World Toilet Day (the founding day was adopted by United Nations in 2012).
