Volunteering at Smokey Tours (part of World Activity Philippines) in Manila and furthermore travelled to San Juan, Sagada, Banaue in North Luzon. Visited Ati Atihan festival in Kalibo and partying in Boracay.

Ati Atihan is a local cultural event, whereby different tribes of the island join the parade. The event is one week, and they are celebrating Santo Nino. Special about the event is the music, dances and costumes of the local people, looks a bit like "Brazilian carnaval". Big celebrations on the streets, great to see!
