This is a song performed by one of the local members of LIYO, together with the other volunteers humming, singing or clapping. This song will be sung for every new group of volunteers, whether it is a worldmapping group, an older couple on a discover travel or a new volunteer from the netherlands. The song might not be perfect, but the text and performance are outstanding, both in emotion and true meaning. Especially when you come for the first time to such a community, you feel very welcomed when someone sings this for you. It makes the group feel like a little family, enjoying each others presence.
