The Mélida Anaya Montes Language School is part of CIS-El Salvador. This institution promotes mutual solidarity among communities in El Salvador, strengthens social organization, and promotes personal development. The language school generates part of the income for social activities aimed at the local community. Projects include: women empowerment, clean water, dignified homes and Youth Scholarships.

Het betreft een kleine taalschool welke culturele uitwisseling tussen buitenlanders en Salvadorianen bevordert. Op deze school leer je niet alleen de taal van het land, maar ook de cultuur en de bewoners begrijpen. De school geeft speciale aandacht aan problemen m.b.t. sociale rechtvaardigheid problemen in het land.

Locatie:

San Salvador is de hoofdstad van het Midden-Amerikaanse land El Salvador. Het land is uitermate geschikt voor de reizigers die graag ergens komen waar andere toeristen nog geen weet van hebben. Ook al herinnert El Salvador iedereen aan het gewelddadige verleden, het heden is totaal anders. De Salvadorianen zijn uiterst vriendelijk en de natuur in het land is schitterend. Het landschap met zijn vulkanen en tropische wouden maken het land tot een paradijs voor de geoefende wandelaar.

Faciliteiten en sociale activiteiten:

Je kunt deelnemen aan het speciale politiek-culturele programma van de school. Hierin leer je meer over de politieke en economische situatie van El Salvador. Het programma zorgt ervoor dat je het land beter gaat begrijpen. Het programma beslaat vier dagen per week in de namiddag en kan prima in combinatie met een taalcursus gevolgd worden.

Cursusmogelijkheden:

Op alle niveaus is zowel groeps- als privéles mogelijk. Groepen bestaan hierbij uit maximaal vier studenten.
Accommodatiemogelijkheden: Verblijf in een gastgezin.

Bijzonderheden:

De taalschool zet zich speciaal in voor de ontwikkeling van het land en organiseert en steunt verschillende projecten.

Werk & Vacatures

CIS-El Salvador zoekt doorlopend vrijwilligers voor diverse projecten. Voor de lessen Engels worden regelmatig nieuwe (TEFL) docenten gezocht.
