Unfortunately on Cinetree in collaboration with Simavi, the free HER Film festival has passed. You can still watch movies, with a messages about strong and powerfull women. I have watched some of the movies from the festival. It is as if you are in the country where the movie is shot.

My two favorites are: Adam & Portrait de la jeune fille en feu. 

I loved the movie Adam, it is shot in Marocco (Casablanca, which means white house and you can see the white lanes with houses). It is an intense psychological movie about a woman who gets a child, a child out of wedlock. Portrait de la jeune fille en feu, is a movie about an intense love between two women, in times, when that was not allowed.
