World Nomads Travel Insurance: duration limits of coverage

Duration minimum:

Duration maximum: 
  • Up to 180 days per policy, with options to extend or buy new policies to reach a total of 12 months (365 days) for your entire journey. 
  • In case of the annual multi-trip insurance: 12 months total coverage (each trip within that year is limited to 45 days)
Renewal:
  • You can extend when your plan changes, as long as you have not returned home.
Start and termination:
  • The coverage starts the moment you depart your country of residence or in some cases, like the trip cancellation, it may start immediately.
  • The coverage ends on the date shown on your Certificate of Insurance, or the moment you return to your country of residence, or when the maximum trip duration allowed by the policy is reached. Once one of these happens, cover automatically stops.

Home country return:
