Achieve Tahoe

Achieve Tahoe offers year-round outdoor recreation activities for people with cognitive, sensory, and physical disabilities. Located in the California mountains surrounding Lake Tahoe, they can serve virtually anyone, no matter the challenge. Achieve Tahoe employs both paid and volunteer instructors for a variety of outdoor activities. There are winter sports (including skiing and snowboarding) and summer sports (sailing, kayaking, archery, and hiking) programs.

JoHo WorldSupporter mission and vision:

Achieve Tahoe biedt het hele jaar door openluchtrecreatie-activiteiten voor mensen met cognitieve, zintuiglijke en fysieke beperkingen. Vanuit het Californische gebergte rondom Lake Tahoe kunnen ze vrijwel iedereen met welke uitdaging dan ook van dienst zijn. Bij Achieve Tahoe werken zowel betaalde als vrijwillige instructeurs voor de diverse buitensport activiteiten. Er is een wintersport (o.a. skien, snowboarden) en zomersport (zeilen, kajakken, boogschieten, wandelen) programma.
