Join one of the weekly cleanups on Bali or Java and get involved with the local community. Ideal for both tourists and digital nomads who want to get to know Indonesia behind the tourist industry. During the cleanups you will join a mixed group of international volunteers and locally involved Indonesians and pick-up trash from beaches, river banks or mangrove forests.

Also at the sorting centers there are options to get a tour and get your hands dirty by helping out the local staff with the sorting of waste collected at the river barriers and during the cleanups.
