Anamnese bij incontinentie voor urine (bij vrouwen)

Er moet gevraagd worden naar het type incontinentie, zoals tijdens het hoesten, niezen, springen, tillen of rennen, of continu verlies zonder aandrang. Ook moet gevraagd worden naar de onderliggende aandoening, zoals een toegenomen mictiefrequentie, pijnlijke of moeilijke mictie, hematurie.

Andere factoren zoals het medicijngebruik, alcoholgebruik, vochtinname, cafeïnehoudende dranken en cognitieve, visuele of motorische beperkingen moeten uitgevraagd worden. Tenslotte moet de pariteit, chronisch hoesten en operaties in de voorgeschiedenis moeten worden uitgevraagd.

Lichamelijk onderzoek

Het abdomen kan onderzocht worden op littekens als gevolg van een operatie, tumoren en urineretentie. Verder kan vaginaal of rectaal toucher plaatsvinden om de bekkenbodemspieren te beoordelen, prolaps en tumoren.

Aanvullend onderzoek

Het aanvullend onderzoek bij incontinentie voor urine bestaat uit het bijhouden van een mictiedagboek gedurende drie dagen en een urineonderzoek op erytrocyten en tekenen van een urineweginfectie.

Beleid

Wanneer sprake is van stressincontinentie tijdens het niezen en hoesten bijvoorbeeld kan gestart worden met bekkenbodemoefeningen en eventueel fysiotherapie. Ook kan een pessarium gebruikt worden, of een grote tampon tijdens het sporten. Wanneer sprake is van urge-incontinentie kan gestart worden met blaastraining en eventueel fysiotherapie. Als de blaastraining onvoldoende effect heeft, kan gestart worden met anticholinergicum.

  2. Use the menu above every page to go to one of the main starting pages
  3. Tags & Taxonomy: gives you insight in the amount of summaries that are tagged by authors on specific subjects. This type of navigation can help find summaries that you could have missed when just using the search tools. Tags are organised per field of study and per study institution. Note: not all content is tagged thoroughly, so when this approach doesn't give the results you were looking for, please check the search tool as back up
  4. Follow authors or (study) organizations: by following individual users, authors and your study organizations you are likely to discover more relevant study materials.
