Interview Ntombizonke

When I was in South-Africa, I met this beautiful girl, Ntombizoke, that lived in Mother of Peace. I liked to call her Beyoncé because she could sing (and dance!) very good. She is 14 and is living at Mother of Peace since 2005. She was very kind to let me ask her some questions.

Introduce yourself, what's your name and what do you like?

My name is Ntombizonke, I'm 14 years old and my birthday is 21 of December. I like to dance but specially to sing. 

You have a great voice!! What is your favorite singer and song?

Awh, thank you so much. My favorite singer is Beyonce and Rihanna (and Justin Bieber), they have a great voice. My favorite song would be... Sweet Dreams - Beyonce.

How long do you live here (in Mother of Peace) and do you like it?

I came here when I was 5 years old, so now almost 10 years. I like it, I have many friends and I like to go to school, but it can be really boring, every day the same thing. We can't go out to the city or anything, we have to stay here and sometimes I just want to go explore the city..

Do you know how you got here and would you tell your story to me?

Yes, it's very difficult for me to talk about this. My mother abandoned me and I was abused when I was small, they took me away from my family and know I'm here. 

Would you want to know what your parents are like?

No, I don't regret not knowing them, ofcourse I wonder a lot about how they might look and if I'm similar to them. 

If you could choose any country to go to, which would it be and why?

America definitely, from all the movies i've seen, the schools and people in America seem so much fun to me. :p
