Get into the mood of traveling to Korea by eating Korean food
Would you like to see a no-brainer, a sort of slow watching television? Then try one of the Korean romantic series! At the same slow watching, you can experience cultural differences and similarities.
- Extraordinary attorney Woo: check her gimbap every breakfast. Notice how the business vibes are in Seoul.
- Queen of Tears: experience the Samgyeopsal, the family feeling, obligations and deep emotions, also shown by men.
- Hometown Cha-cha-cha: a lot of eating and drinking soju going on, and it is not a shame to choose rural life over city life.
- Little women is still on my to watch list. The list of Korean series are unlimited nowadays.
In the meantime: make a snack, savor some kimchi: fermented spicy cabbage with a sour, salty taste. One of the most famous Korean dishes and super healthy! And I discovered you can buy tteobokki in a package (of course only heating up is the process) and the famous Yotam Ottolenghi's sauce advice: Gochujang. It is a versatile cooking essential that is used to make authentic spicy and savoury Korean dishes. The local grocery store has Gochujang on their shelves and you can dip your chips in it.
