Women empowerment

• Sahayatri Nepal is based in Kathmandu and aims to create equality and awareness amongst women, their children and vulnerable communities. It is a non-profit, non-governmental organization.
• The organization wants to promote awareness on gender-based violence, discrimination and domestic violence. One of their goals is to encourage women to feel empowered through their own personal development.
• To achieve this, Sahayatri Nepal aims to be an access point for women for support and guidance.
• Supporting a healthier lifestyle is amongst their goals. They mean to achieve this through education on hygiene, HIV/AIDS and nutrition.
• Preventing violations of human rights is an overall goal of the organization.
