A hostel to relax

  • Fat Cat Kampala offers a variety of rooms: from shared dorms to private double and triple rooms. All beds have a mosquito net and free breakfast is included. 
  • The hostel aims to create a relaxed environment for guests. Fat Cat has a rooftop terrace where guests can enjoy a sunset view or get a drink at the bar. 
  • In addition, the hostel focuses on embracing equality, pollution and culture among their guests through street art, upcycled art, inspiring quotes and wisdoms and different workshops and events promoting Ugandan culture. An example of one of those events is Roots, this is a storytelling event about the history, legends and folklore of Uganda
  • Although Fat Cat started as being a primarily tourist hostel, it has slowly shifted its attention to building stronger relationships with NGOs, government programs and development organizations working in Uganda and East Africa.
