Nature conservation

  • Para La Tierra aims to conserve Paraguay through scientific research, community engagement and environmental education.
  • Para La Tierra's projects focus on the flora and fauna of Paraguay. Reptiles, fish, birds and bugs are all included in their pursuit to securing the habitat of the country. Their projects include field work as well as lab work.
  • The organisation works in all kinds of regions in the country; from wetlands to forests and river systems.
  • Beside their on-the-ground projects, Para La Tierra has established a reference collection from their researches and projects. This collection has become on of the main resources for conservation and natural history.
  • Para La Tierra organizes field courses where you can experience unbeaten tracks of Paraguay while perfomring relevant studies.
