Wanicare Foundation

De Wanicare Foundation is opgericht door een Nederlandse met de missie om de Wild Animal Rescue Centers te ondersteunen bij het welzijn van wilde dieren, en in het bijzonder primaten in Indonesië. Daarnaast houdt de stichting zich bezig met het voorkomen van dierenhandel en het terugzetten van dieren in hun natuurlijke omgeving.

Enkele dieren die regelmatig in de opvang terechtkomen of worden onderzocht in hun projecten: otters, gibbons, plompe lori's, kasuarissen en neushoornvogels

De Wanicare Foundation probeert via een eigen project rond biologische, duurzame landbouw en agroforestry de dieren in de opvang met zelfgekweekt voedsel te voeren.

Internships

  • Je kunt je als stagiair bezig houden met het voeden van dieren, gedragsstudies, het schoonmaken van de kooien, het educatie programma, medische taken, en eventueel het opvangen en vrijlaten van dieren.  

Volunteering

  • Ook als vrijwilliger kan je je bezig houden met het voeden van dieren, gedragsstudies, het schoonmaken van de kooien, het educatie programma, medische taken, en eventueel het opvangen en vrijlaten van dieren.
