  • Deze internationale organisatie is actief met het REDD+ project (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation) dat door de VN is ontwikkeld om CO2 uitstoot te verminderen door ontbossing en bosbeschadigingen te reduceren. Hiermee worden ook de verschillende dierensoorten beschermd.
  • Wildlife Works gebruikt een effectieve aanpak voor het toepassen van marktgerichte oplossingen tegen ontbossing. Zo helpt ze verschillende landeigenaren een alternatieve duurzame bron van inkomsten te ontwikkelen dat niet bijdraagt aan ontbossing en CO2 uitstoot. Ook voor het beschermen van wilde dieren worden er alternatieve bronnen van inkomsten aangeboden voor de lokale gemeenschap, zodat zij niet meer afhankelijk hoeven te zijn van stroperij.
