Volunteering Ghana

I went to Ghana to do voluntary work and it was one of the best trips of my life!

First we traveled by plane to Accra, the capital city of Ghana. The culture there is so different than here in Holland, that was an amazing experience. We have been in Accra for 2 days and then we took a 12 hour long bustrip to Tamale. In Tamale we were going to help in the KidzActive School and do restaurationwork in Kpalski Library. The first couple of days we went to the library and we painted the walls, clean up and help with realising new windows. Everyday the children who came to the library for extra help with reading waited for us to come. When we left in the afternoon they don't wanted us to go. In the school the same story. The kids were so happy with us, it was unbelievable! We teached the children some math and english and played with them. It was an amazing experience and I hope, someday, that I will be back!
