Case concerning pulp mills on the river Uruguay (Argentina v. Uruguay) (International Court of Justice, 20-04-2010, EIR 597 (583, 532))

Casus

Hier ging het om een twist tussen Argentinië en Uruguay omtrent de constructie van een aantal 'pulp mills' aan de Uruguay rivier. Dit zorgde voor onenigheid tussen beide landen, en uiteindelijk werd de zaak voor the internationale hof gebracht.

ICJ

Uruguay had Argentinië niet op de hoogte gebracht van de constructie van de 'pulp mills'. Ondanks dit gegeven, vervuilden de molens het milieu niet; het zou dan ook niet gerechtvaardigd zijn om ze te sluiten.

Uiteindelijk werd in 2010, onder nieuwe presidenten in beide landen, besloten tot een gezamenlijke coördinatie omtrent het gebruik van de rivier.

When you have found a magazine of your likings, add that page to your favorites so you can easily go to that starting point directly from your profile during future visits. Below you will find some start magazines per field of study
  2. Use the menu above every page to go to one of the main starting pages
  3. Tags & Taxonomy: gives you insight in the amount of summaries that are tagged by authors on specific subjects. This type of navigation can help find summaries that you could have missed when just using the search tools. Tags are organised per field of study and per study institution. Note: not all content is tagged thoroughly, so when this approach doesn't give the results you were looking for, please check the search tool as back up
