Wat onderzoekt een neuropsycholoog? Een neuropsycholoog kijkt naar de relatie tussen de hersenen en gedrag aan de hand van eventuele hersenbeschadigingen. Dit kan zowel op groepsniveau als één op één.   1. Establishing a favourable climate. This is done before the influence starts, creating a favourable environment.

Forensische gedragskunde bestaat uit drie velden:

  • Rechtspsychologie: gaat over psychologische processen die de waarheidsvinding beïnvloeden.

  • Klinisch forensische psychologie: Dit gaat over daderkennis en probeert antwoord te geven op: Hoe heeft deze dader kunnen doen wat hij heeft gedaan? Toerekeningsvatbaarheid en voorkomen van recidive.

Neuropsychology is becoming increasingly important at schools. An important question is what can be done in assessment and treatment at schools, and what teachers can do to help.
Most children who have problems at school are comorbid. ADHD is the biggest problem at schools, with a prevalence rate of 3 to 6% in school-aged children.
