Win a 4week TEFL course in Malaga - Suzanne Furstner Scholarship 2019

Contest 2019

After having closed our 2018 TEFL COMPETITION, it is time to announce the new TEFL Competition that will be held in 2019! Do you already speak and write English to a high level and are you adventurous enough to travel around whilst earning your own money? If so, this is your time and opportunity  to compete in the Suzanne Furstner competition for a TEFL/ TESOL certificate. It will open doors for you, giving you a chance to teach the English language to non-native speakers all over the world.

Enter our annual writing competition for the SUZANNE FURSTNER SCHOLARSHIP 2019.
The Suzanne Furstner Foundation (SFF) funds this Scholarship in collaboration with the language school ‘Tefl-in-Spain’ in Malaga, enabling aspiring TEFL teachers from all over the world to join a training course at the Trinity training centre in Malaga (TEFL in Spain).

The course the school is offering us this year takes place between the 7th August and the 7th September. A break of one week for the “Malaga Feria” is also included. So apart from the learning and studying, it will also be great fun if you win.

So, please express and motivate your wish to be a TEFL teacher in an essay of one and a half A4 pages (1000/1500 words). Tell us about your motivation to go abroad and your wish to teach the English language to non-native speakers.

Please send your entry by the 15th May 2019 to info[at]suzannefurstnerfoundation.nl or through SFF’s Contact Form and we will select the winning entry by July 1st. You can also do it via TEFL in Spain.

All scholarship applicants will be assigned a task, involving both a language awareness exercise and a piece of creative writing based around the TEFL course destination.

There is only one applicant who can win this wonderful main prize. But TEFL-IN SPAIN donates a free online TEFL course to every participant.
